Standing tall

We have so many aggressive weeds that I have decided to embrace the humble Dandelions as just nice splashes of colour, not weeds at all! So much easier!
Lovely capture !

This is really pretty! I am a firm believer that there are no such things as weeds- they are just wildflowers that grew in the wrong place.

Lovely DoF...really like how the shape of the flower echos the line of the hill.

@olivetreeann I really like your philosophy Ann! - trying to remove some of them is nearly impossible. And these are pretty.

@granagringa Oh dear - I'd really like to be able to say "thank you for the compliment on the line of the flower and the hill" - but it would be a lie!! I knew I wanted the flower up above the horizon - but it was a long way down onto the ground and the grass was prickly - so I was just too busy trying to get it focused properly and get off the ground. LOL It is pretty much SOOC though...Cheers Rob

@robz hey it's called "unconscious competence"...you're eye is just better than your analytic mind sometimes...:-)

@granagringa What a nice thing to say - and what a great phrase - "unconscious competence" - I love it. I'm sure I can work that into one of the "discussions" that my husband and I seem to have about a variety of stupid things!! Thanks so much! And, in case one or the other of us gets side-tracked before Christmas I would just like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year. I have really enjoyed your lovely images and appreciated your kind support, encouragement and friendship all year. I hope we can both continue into the next 365 year. Cheers Rob Z
