Well camouflaged

This tiny nest is now unoccupied - hopefully the owners will return next Spring. They have decorated it very nicely with strands of lichen which are now growing quite happily.
Lovely shot. God has created a beautiful world. We, humans, are trying to destroy it.

I have never seen anything like this... lichen would make it so nice and soft

@sangwann Dione - what you have said unfortunately seems to be true - it's a vary sad time environmentally. I guess we just have to hope mankind can come up with some solutions. :)

@ulla Hi Ulrika - I'd love to know what type of bird made it - as you say it is quite characteristic. A Google search might be needed!! :)

@suzanne234 Hi Suzanne - it is such a little cutie - but I think the owner may be quite annoyed by that dividing wall - I don't think it was part of his design!! :)

@golftragic Yes - and it is in a spot where it would be easy to see the babies too! :)

@casablanca Isn't it just amazing that they have the blueprint to make something like that!! Nature is so amazing! :)
