Meet Bruce and Lucy.. by robz

Meet Bruce and Lucy..

These two little fellows belong to my son and his wife. They came to their family neatly packed in an insulated cardboard box! They are now nearly 6 years old but, unfortunately are not the loving pair that was planned for - Lucy has turned out to be Lucian...
My favorite is bottom right!

This is a great collection, the photos are so clear. Not surprised they are both boys - must be difficult to find out what they are!

Hi Everybody - I'm terribly sorry that I haven't been able to respond to all of your kind and helpful comments. It has been totally mad here with 4 family birthdays and parties ( 1 year old, 32 years old, 26 years old and 55 years old!) in 6 days. In addition it appears that we are about to move from our home of 25 years into a granny flat to be constructed in the yard of our son's new home - all very exciting but very time consuming! I love reading your feedback and it was wonderful to see how much you liked this collage of Bruce and "Lucy", so thank you all so much and please forgive the lack of individual responses on most of my uploads for the last few days. When time is short I always feel that I really want to admire your shots first - and then run out of time!! Cheers Rob

@robz Wow, that sounds like it's been all go round your place.

@golftragic Hi Marnie - it just seems everything is happening at once. My son and his wife are selling their house to buy a bigger one on 1 acre. The granny flat would let us see more of Vinny when we're on the Coast - and won't need as much upkeep and cleaning as our current house. We'll keep it though and rent it out - it's nice to have somewhere to go back to if things don't work out... And we would really miss the forest and creek too, so the rental house will be fenced off from all of that and we can still go and check out the orchids etc. Big changes but I think it will be good! :)

Exciting times Rob! Sounds like a great plan. No reply needed!!

@robz I'm a little geographically confused Rob. Are you still keeping Stanthorpe?
February 17th, 2019
@golftragic Hi again Marnie - we're keeping Stanthorpe - we love it up there but it's always just been a bit of a hobby "farm". Mind you - we're dreading going back to see what has happened with the fires in the N.P. - our favourite walk has been totally burnt out. We'll keep the GC house too - but fence off sections of it so we can still have access to the forest without annoying the tenants. It's only about 10 minutes from the area where Nathan and Amy are trying to buy. It's in a good area close to everything and on 7 acres so we want to keep it - we may even go back at some stage. It's all about Vinny at this stage - the more we see of him the better - he's very much "stranger danger" at the moment and won't let Amy out of his sight. He's such a darling though that it will be nice to be close when we are down here. Thanks for your interest - it is all quite exciting from our end!! Cheers Rob

@robz Thanks for the explanation Rob, I'm going to have to get out a map since I have no idea of where these places are. I know vaguely where Stanthorpe is, thanks to an earlier communication with your good self), but the GC is a blank slate to me. That fire sounds like it was a bit close to your place for comfort.
