I didn't think about sharks... we don't have that "problem" up here, but I don't think I would have gone swimming in those waves.

@helstor Lol Helge - the waves are what lured them out there. My husband used to be a surfer and he tells me that you are so busy worrying about the waves that you don't worry about the sharks......

@jacqbb Grey overcast days and deep water increase the risk of a shark attack - surfers seem to try to ignore the problem. Although my husband tells me of a day he and a mate were surfing when one of them saw a shadow - quickest ever exit from the water.....
