My get pushed partner asked me to form "a triptych of photos that give one a feel for your home area".This is based on Stanthorpe - which is a country town in Queensland Australia. There are many reasons why people live in our town - it is great for retirees as it is a friendly place with very reasonable real estate prices and a beautifully kept town centre, it is great for tourists as it has wonderful natural resources in the form of impressive granite features and cold weather vegetation for bush walks. It is also an important part of Queensland's economy as it is a major area for the production of wine and fruit. All in all - a delightful area.
@shutterbug49 Hi Shutterbug - this was my first idea - to try to tie the 3 images together - but I don't think it worked very well - the edge images are too small and hard to interpret. Anyway - if I get time I'll have another go with a different format - from the G.C. instead. It is a good challenge! Cheers Rob
@robz I think it shows off the area well and I was impressed with how the three pieces flowed into each other, especially the right side. I’m glad you like the challenge.
Sounds like a wonderful place to live and you've worked the triptych well to reflect that. I read the other day that Stanthorpe is running out of water. Must be a bit of a worry.
