I very rarely manage to catch a bird in any image which is even half way decent. Then these 3 just made my day - sat there and posed! Unfortunately, they were not all on the same rock so this is a composite to show all of them being so well mannered. :)
I didn't see them as two different pictures until you mentioned it, so good job on the composite work! Yes, they look very serious for gulls. I wonder what they're contemplating! Good shot.
So pleased to be paired with you once again and thank you for your ICM challenge with a twist!
For your challenge I would like you to find an object that would work in all three foreground, middle ground, and background photos and then make it the focal of all three shots.
Hope this makes sense and hope it works for you! Let me know if you need further clarification.
@farmreporter Now that is going to be a very interesting task Wendy - just to be sure - will I put the same image 3 times in a single photo by combining the three or do I present it as 3 images? :)
The main reason for this challenge is that we as photographers tend to get into a rut where we 'see' things the same way - either as a strong foreground, as part of a composition, or part of the wide environment.
This will help you 'see' one object in all three ways. So, yes, three photos please!
Well done!
