Across the creek... by robz

Across the creek...

A typical dry sclerophyll forest - eucalypts, wattles and casuarinas - hopefully home to koalas, possums, goannas, snakes, wallabies, roos and assorted birds
ahhhh my kind of bush indeed! nicely captured :)

Great shot, were you sitting in a cave?

@jacqbb I was thinking that too!

Well done, I am guessing you have rotated the image by 180 degrees ? That works very well.

Hi Syd, Jacqueline, Casablanca and Etienne - No caves on our property unfortunately ( wouldn't it be great to own a cave!) just a small creek with various waterholes. So to catch the reflection you have to bend down very low - so it's easy just to bend right over and use the camera upside down - hence the rocks on either side give the frame and the image of the reflection is the right way up.And funnily enough the forest looks a whole lot more interesting. This is probably the best photo I've ever managed for that bit of forest. Thanks for having a look and for your feedback. Cheers Rob

Fav. A wonderful shot and a great pov. Looks like it is a superb place for wildlife to live in peace in a great environment.

Love the reflection! Funny enough we have a Eucalyptus tree in the garden, I always thought they were native to Australia.

Beautiful shot! At first, I didn't realize that it's a reflection - but then I saw the waves :)
