Contre Jour according to Wikipedia - is a photographic technique in which the camera is pointing directly toward a source of light. It's a bit scary - with a worry about damaging the sensor in the camera....
I like the bowl for sure. It looks lovely with any plant in it. I have taken pictures facing the sun and thank God I have had no damages but I have to be more careful from now on.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Hi Jackie - I found out the hard way - my camera now has a slightly dark corner which appears under certain circumstances. And I know exactly which photo made it happen!
@fbailey Thanks so much FB - probably some sort of course would be a good idea - learn to do some of these things correctly rather than just by trial and error. It does tend to be interesting this way though. :)
@pusspup LOL - It doesn't seem to have any new damaged spots - it already had one which occasionally appears under certain lighting. I'm much more careful now!!
@casablanca Hi Casablanca - thanks for your comment - but I'm afraid the little devils are small, very spiky cactus - masquerading as cute fluffy little things!! They are as tough as nails though - you can't kill them! :)
