Goma goes aquatic...

8 ft high and ever changing! The Gallery of Modern Art at Brisbane has a new exhibition - based on "Water". Such a simple theme but so many incredibly creative, and fascinating exhibits. This one is alive and responds to the surrounding environment - it twists and turns and grows and droops according to the humidity and disturbances in its surroundings. It's formed from soapy water forming long tubes of bubbles which are extruded into the air and then swell or shrink and change shape... Excellent to see. :) P.S. I wish I'd thought to include something to give it a sense of scale.
It is hard to imagine what this is and does - science is amazing!

Must be a real experience to see. What about doing a GIF for us art starved types?

@777margo Hi Margo - it has only recently opened and it is very large, so I imagine it will be there for quite a while. I did a Google - it's there til 26th April. You do have to pay to enter - I seem to remember that it was about $15.:)

@joysabin That would have been a great idea - unfortunately I only kept this 1 photo. It was pretty cool the way its arms slowly grew or shrank and slowly waved around! :)

How tall is it? Is it taller than the average man? Does it fit into the room or is there no room to spare? Sounds like it's pretty large. Good shot.
