Just like the old days #2

This brought back lots of memories. Errol grew up across the road from this beach and mullet fishermen were a common sight. They had their boats ready and had a spotter on the headland looking for schools of mullet moving up the coast. Out went the nets, in came the catch and, if you were quick and cheeky, you could score a mullet as it tried to escape.
We thought those days were long gone - too many tourists and surfers - but there they were!
Some things to be enjoyed about this strange situation we are in.

Nice capture of an 'ordinary' scene. I hope they left a couple of fish for the fishermen on holidays.

Well it's good to know that the tradition goes on! I like that calmer heads are beginning to prevail and life is going back to the way it should be. Good catch.
