Still trying to spot the platypus... by robz

Still trying to spot the platypus...

We're pretty sure one lives in this pond - but haven't been able to spot him yet.
He will pop up when you have no camera. Probably do summersaults, balance a twig on his head and just as you get out your phone- bugger off!!

Besides, this is a beauty of a landscape to photograph and sit and watch and wait!!

Good luck seeing him/her x

@shutterbug49 Hi Shutterbug - unfortunately they are usually most active and dawn and dusk - but can sometimes be seen through -out the day. They are pretty shy though. :)

Hi everybody - thanks so much for all of your interest and comments - lots of good advice about forgetting to try to get a photo and just enjoy the area. Way to go I think - and maybe just be lucky enough to have the camera out! Or, shock, horror, get up really early and be up there at dawn..... Thanks again Cheers Rob
