Cone bush watercolour

Cone bushes normally are seen with just a small hard cone, a bit like a miniature pine cone. This is the first one I've seen with it's seeds emerging. Not at all what I had imagined.

The background makes it for me in this shot...well almost, the subject and the comp are quite good as well.

@granagringa Hi Granagringa - thanks for your comments. The background turned into a watercolour effect when I played with the "illumination" curve. It was easy to do. Cheers
