Way out of my comfort zone....

The 52 week challenge this year is decidedly slanted towards artistic endeavour rather than technical challenges. This weekd challenge was to apply the composition idea of symmetry to a portrait. My camera and I are both pretty hopeless at portraits, Errol said he was "much too busy" and Zoe ran away...
The vintage doll couldn't talk or walk so she became the subject. These were attempts to use lighting and backgrounds to achieve some sort of symmetry. :)
These dolls scare me.

Ha ha they scare me too. I feel the same as Sharon @sugarmuser
My sister used to have a doll like these when we were small, the doll was called Amanda and she used to glow under the moonlight in our bedroom. I used to put her under my sister's bed.
