Different go at Low Key b&w

Very cool that the light at the rear is not a distraction, but acts almost like a leading line to draw the viewer in...nicely done.

@granagringa Thanks Madeline - This wasn't a planned attempt at a Low key shot but it seemed to fit the idea -maybe. Have been looking at some online and they seemed to be a lot of portraits - so maybe this is not suitable. Ann kindly gave me an outline of what is usual and I just read it again. I don't think this is any good after all - all of the details are still visible. Still too much light.

You could bring down the overall exposure of this shot in post processing and turn it into one if you wanted to.

This is an awesome B&W but like Ann @olivetreeann says - I don't think it technically qualifies as low key.
But, you have entered some really nice ones that did qualify and you have now figured out the lighting and shadows so mission accomplished!

@farmreporter Thanks Wendy - I did follow Ann's advice and toned it down a bit - but it was still too bright. As you say - I've learnt lots!!
