National Park plaque. by robz

National Park plaque.

This is just so beautifully created - a flat, metallic plaque used as a lid for a tank set into the ground.
Hard to believe it is something so mundane. Looks like it it is out of a showcase in a museum. Great with the black background.

Wow- that's a rather ornate tank covering. Nice shot.

I'm with Dorothy! Such a mundane article but such intricacy and interest.

@nobled H Dorothy-thanks for your comment. It is very ornate and it must be pretty tough - in the position it's in people actually walk on it.

Hi Ann - I love the way it shows the native plants and animals from that rainforest.

@sarahlth Thanks Sarah - the contrast showed up really well in b&w.

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Hi Jackie - it is probably about 2 ft across and in the middle of a concrete circle about 5 ft across. I assumed it was an inground tank because it looked like the ones we have. It must be tough - people walk on it! :)
