Pink abstract for Sunday

JackieR @30pics4jackiesdiamond was thinking of doing a week of the Rainbow Challenge as abstracts. She kindly agreed that I could join her in the fun! So here's abstract 1 - it was originally a boring pink flower.
What a fun abstract! I love it. How did you achieve such a fabulous effect?

@casablanca Hi Casablanca - thanks for being so positive. This was pretty easy to do - it was a twirl distort which was then followed by something my program calls a "noise" distort - it sort of makes the image look like sound waves radiating out. The new format was then put onto a new canvas which had the pink background on it. Part of the fun is playing around with the different distorts to see what happens!! This is probably not what the purists would call an abstract - but I just like the new shapes and patterns that you can make... :)

Ooh what fun! I shall have to look to see what I can find to try this kind of thing. Who cares about purists? I just like to create and have fun! Love this.
