Great Blue observered in" Flasher Pose" seems to be a maintenance behavior. Facing the sun with wings drooped while also rapidly breathing with the mouth open and vibration of the throat at the same time to cool themselves. This spread wing posture helps to force parasites into motion for easier removal, or maybe it just feels good.
