Sharing another osprey shot from the other day. This is when they make the switch on the nest. Seems one sets for approx 90 min and then calls to the mate for relief. Once the mate was sitting across the water in a pine tree in the shade watching and waiting for the call.
Great pov and capture of this moment. I've only just recently discovered how much fun it is to observe and photograph birds in their natural surroundings.
Great shot. Guess I haven't hung around the nest that I'm watching to see them switch up like that. Seems like just the one sits in the nest. I'll have to watch that one day.
