LHG-5883- single Painted Lady

I tried to single out the painted lady butterfly. I will have to look up about there migration to learn where they go for the winter,
Where do you live, Linda? In 2009 the mystery of the Africa/British Painted Lady’s migration was finally solved.

@rontu Thanks, in that case I can't help you but hope you can find out. Your PL is not quite the same as ours.

@stevejacob Some years we have irruptions, that's mass "invasions." I remember 1996 when York was truly Butterfly Heaven, we couldn't walk, had to shuffle, there were so many and we were afraid of trampling them. Think of David Attenborough in Mexico watching the Monarchs, it was like that. They came in huge numbers and of course conditions were right for breeding success, truly magical.
