This Knapweed plant is visited by bees for the flowers and goldfinches for the seed heads.

Great focus on the bird.. and lovely he have some yellow/black/white in his feathers... I guess its a nice sight when he flies...

They are pretty birds, it will develop red and black feathers on its face when it matures.

I had been deadheading the flowers to encourage more for the bees. Thankfully I realised the finches were feeding off the seed heads so I have stopped now!!
