This is a tiny section of the many-arched ceiling of the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis. Built in 1914, the mosaic installation of the ceilings and the walls is one of the largest in the Western Hemisphere. For scale, this section is off to the side. My camera battery was on the low end, there was a wedding happening and my photography skills are not adequate to portray this structure. I simply have to find time to get back to it.
