Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, on the banks of the Mississippi River, in St. Louis County. Established as a national cemetery in 1866, it serves as a burial and memorial place for soldiers of all wars, including more than 1,000 Civil War dead and soldiers (and their wives) from today. I appreciate your visits and comments, as you have time and inclination. You are all very generous.
