Remembered

Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, on the banks of the Mississippi River, in St. Louis County. Established as a national cemetery in 1866, it serves as a burial and memorial place for soldiers of all wars, including more than 1,000 Civil War dead and soldiers (and their wives) from today. I have never been to this beautiful place before today, although I have lived in St. Louis for almost 30 years. Thanks to my journey with the 365 community, I finally visited today.

I appreciate your visits and comments, as you have time and inclination. You are all very generous.
Your photo, POV and subject are moving and exquisite.

Fantastic perspective, lovely shot. 365 can tend to get us places we wouldn't normally go to. Which is awesome.

Wonderful POV. In some ways it's good that you haven't been before now, but it really is a lovely place for our veterans.
