Lucky Break

This Bald Eagle flew over my car when I was running errands today. Of course, I pulled over and jumped out with my trusty P&S. Luckily, it was a residential neighborhood. I have never been so close to a Bald Eagle in the wild (suburbia... but whatever), so it was very wonderful.

Wonderful clarity! I watched an eagle dive bomb a sea lion that was thrashing about with a salmon in it's mouth. I so wish I could have got a photo to remember the moment!
