This wood duck is photographed for the "camerasavvy-focus" tutorial, on-going right now.
The point of the exercise is to figure out how to access and use the auto focus tracking feature of your camera, to use it on a moving object. Flying birds are beyond my skill set, since I had never used this feature before, but I could keep up with swimming birds. ;) This wood duck was moving along and changing directions, so I was pleased that I (or at least my camera) could keep up with him. No cropping here, fyi, and pretty minimal processing for some clarity, etc.
