The rear of the British Royal Family's coronation carriage, as seen in the Royal Mews. Its sole function is to carry the monarch to his or her coronation. A massive golden affair, very stately and historic. Last used, obviously, for Elizabeth II in 1952.
I seem to having some LR processing issues, unfortunately, and am not inclined to mess around with my computer after a long (very fun) day of getting about. So many photos, so little time!
Thanks for stopping by, especially as I am not able to reciprocate right now. Take care, everyone!

wonderfully golden, but it's your capture of colors in the rom that accentuate its golden-ness. At the Kremlin, we saw many royal carriages that were used in coronations, including ones that were made into sleighs to travel in the snow from St Petersburg to Moscow. Enjoy your travels!
My equestrian background leads me to choose the Mews as one of my suggested spots to visitt in London, but I also love it because it is often overlooked as a place to visit so you can take in the sights minus all of the tourists. I hope it was so for you, and love that you went there. Fantastic capture Rosie!
