Another view of my empty locust shell. @lizhammond suggested that a frontal view might be interesting, so I obliged, especially as I am not seeing anything else of interest today.
This is a 10 shot, focus-stacked, image (but there are so many bumpy areas, that I still missed some focus spots), shot on a reflective acrylic surface.
I really like how the little critter's shell looks like the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
