I have this Gerbera daisy that blooms periodically. Amazingly, I haven't dispatched it yet, with my lack of gardening skills.
I recently learned (today, about time) that my beloved Oly can take multiple shots of the same object, at varying focus points, with just one click. Previously, I took each shot individually, for a focus-stacked result.
Plus, I am going to the now shut-down state prison tomorrow, for a photo tour, so here is some cheer in advance.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I appreciate it, very much.

Gorgeous shot, and what a great trick to discover Rosie, I've always shied away from focus-stacking and put it in the too-hard basket. Now seeing this beauty I'll check out whether my new Fujifilm X-T1 can do the same trick.
just beautiful rosie. sadly my em5 doesn't have the technology. and isn't going to get it in any upgrades. i think i'm right in saying i have to focus bracket and then combine them in pp - haven't had much luck with that so far, though it sounds like that's what you were doing up to now? maybe today's the day
Really great focusing -- I'm thinking of renting the MII for a week through borrow lenses. I can rent the body and 2-3 lenses quite reasonably. Is a week enough to learn the basics to test it out?
