St. Louis' own Chuck Berry died yesterday, age 90. There is a statute in honor of this pioneer of rock 'n roll, down on the Loop, doing his "duck walk," across from Blueberry Hill (where he continued to perform monthly in recent years). It was decorated as you see, surrounded by people and someone had a tape player blasting his greatest hits.
