Ship In The Night by rosiekerr

Ship In The Night

This reminded me of a sculpture in the Washington DC metro system (Archives Navy Memorial, if you are in DC)... it is a metal sculpture on a wall which shows the hull of a sailing ship, passing through water, as seen from below, as if you are looking up towards it from underneath the water. The sculpture is meant to express exploration into the unknown.

More fun with magazines, stacked and inverted, as last evening and today were entirely taken up by an older family member needing stitches from a fall (but all's well, that ends well).

Thanks for taking time to view, as always.
Abstract art is pretty much anything we say it is...or what the viewer thinks he sees! Nice on both parts!

This is remarkable and certainly looks like the bow of a ship.

Seeing I already commented on this favorably, add it (or anything else you'd like) to the current thread I started about finding the abstract in the things we photograph! This suits it all perfectly!
