After we left the Dark Hedges (yesterday's offering), we drove down to Belfast to tour the Titanic Museum (which you can see, building upper left corner). A fascinating museum, but no photos from there.
Outside the museum is "The Nomadic," above. She was launched in 1911 and is the only the only White Star Line vessel in existence today. She was built to ferry passengers and mail to the Titanic (and to the Olympic, Titantic's sister ship). You can walk onboard and see her, fully tricked out, as she was in 1911. After spending her entire life elsewhere, she has returned to her birthplace of Belfast.
I was completely delighted to discover a unique and rare porcelain commode fixture, which can be viewed on my "extras" album. ;)
