Baby Bristlecone Pine Cone by rosiekerr

Baby Bristlecone Pine Cone

A baby pine cone on a bristlecone pine, Mt. Evans, Colorado. They are so pink when they are young, even if they are sprouting from a thousand year old tree.

The pine needles are blurred in the background.

Thanks so much for visiting.
It looks like a rose! But would feel quite different! A great shot of something we might never have seen!
