Crater Lake, Oregon, was formed by a volcano. There is an island in the middle of it, called Wizard Island, also formed by a later volcano.
@taffy and I took a boat out into the lake, then hiked up to the top of Wizard Island (it took about 90 minutes to hike up). You can see a pano of the top, above... including the crater inside. Quite the experience. :)

@jgpittenger Thanks. I’ll take a look at that. Often, I crop with preordained crop ratios, if I ever want to print, but it’s definitely worth a look. Volcanic rock is not very exciting. :)
