Conde McCullough was a civil engineer originally from Iowa, who became head of Oregon's Bridge Division of the Department of Transportation in 1919, during the time when the state was completing their famed Highway 101. He helped design over 600 bridges, many of which was known for their architectural beauty and economic, efficient design.
@jgpittenger, our tour guide extraordinaire, is fortunate to live in a town which is graced by a McCullough Bridge, the "Siuslaw River Bridge," the underneath of which is shown above.
Usually, I might consider black and white for such an image, but the color helped me better visualize its symmetrical structure.

Fav'd last night but had to return to take a second look. Your processing worked out great -- handling the browns well. I like how it shows what it looked like underneath but at the same time is a wonderful abstract.
