A view of one of the statutes, which adorn the stairs, inside the Library of Congress, Washington, DC. Shot yesterday. This building never ceases to impress and amaze me. It is like a historical wedding cake. ;)
I tried to shoot this from an angle and position which are not natural, for me. Usually, I line this up in a very symmetrical and precise way. Here, the only item that I concentrated on was the statute. Everything else was a spiral. I was looking for movement. Working for you? Not so much?

Oh, this takes me back to the black tie dinners we used to go there . . . so many happy memories. I like your angled capture very much! You show us the "historical wedding cake" layers . . . (and I know there's a Thomas Jefferson bust just below the arch on your lower left . . . )
