Lone Tree

Hi, all. Some of you have asked for a composite tutorial that is easier to follow.

Here is one with only two images from Unsplash (links included in the tutorial). I would encourage interested folks to take a try, if you have access to Photoshop or Gimp. This one is a pretty clear example.

The link is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PXstiLvoYg&t=758s

Suggestions... try running the video at 1/2 speed. Hit "pause" a lot. :)

Using Photoshop has really helped me edit my ordinary photos, too. There is a good technique in here for cutting out complex items (like trees) using channels.

Thanks for tolerating these experiments, especially as I am buried with work during the day.

Brilliant! Fav

ha no tolerating required - just love your creativity and desire to learn. if there's a good cutting out technique, i'm going to have a look - keep honing mine but sometimes there are subjects i find so tricky ;)
