We visited Mackinac Island yesterday... here is a pano view of the harbor and some of the business district, from the fort of the same name high above. Since the British built the fort around 1780, then the US took it over, it flies both flags.
No autos permitted on the island... just horses and bikes. We did both. :). A lovely day.
