Mask Up! by rosiekerr

Mask Up!

The USA midwest is really in the thick of this pandemic, mostly due to people who aren't as self-controlled or well-informed as this statue. Hoping we can avoid the worst of it, in the next few weeks, although so many places are really experiencing difficulties. Time will tell.

That is St. Louis' city flag, by the way. Two rivers, the Missouri and the Mississippi, meeting at the crossroads.

Hope everyone is doing well and thanks for visiting my sporadic project.
Cool shot! It's getting bad here too. So scary!

Things are hard here as well

Too little information, too little care. Hopefully these new vaccines that are starting to come out will prove to be beneficial and accessible because we certainly aren't doing a good enough job at staying away from each other.

Hope you stay safe. It has been devastating to see on the news just how out of control the virus is in your country.

If even the statue can mask up, surely the rest of us can? I was on the elevator and someone who worked in the building got on with me (small elevator and shouldn't have happened) and he was wearing his mask around his chin!! And you wonder why I choose to stay home. I hope you are staying well!

@jyokota We are staying well, thank you. However, work is totally reimagined for both of us.

@rosiekerr I'll bet -- but then, life in general has been reimagined! I'd have been in Poland, Italy, Germany, Italy (again), Russia, Taiwan and more by now but instead completely house-bound. I'm getting to know my backyard.

Perfect. These numbers are just horrible and only getting worse. Looking ahead, looks like we'll be spending a lot of time at home!
