Missing Man Formation

We are missing my father in law this holiday season, who passed away this year. A gentleman and a scholar... a man of intellect, dignity and honor. Most especially, a lover of dogs.

Note the missing place setting on the right. :(.

This is so heartbreaking! My mother spent the day with friends, and all of us daughters were out of town with our own families. This makes me glad we were not there at Mother's table. I don't think any of us could have borne it seeing Daddy's empty place.
