Here is the top of the head of Clark, the Bald Eagle. He was bending down. I thought it was an unusual point of view... they are usually looking down at us!
10/1/2020: Finished year 7 (!), with continuing gratitude towards this amazing community. Based in St. Louis, MO. Regular worker-bee and self-taught photography dilettante....
I know that beak is wicked but still, this pose makes me want to lean out and plant a tender kiss on those feathers. I'm in the habit of doing that very thing with my parrots so it would be almost natural to want to love on these feathers. But that beak, well, it demands some respect!
