We went for a walk through Swiss Gardens today at Shuttleworth. It is really beautiful in there at any time of year but I don't think you can beat spring time. I couldn't believe my luck when I saw this grey heron as soon as I walked in standing right in front of me. In fact it was so still, I thought it was a plastic one until my husband pointed out that it wasn't. Anyway, I got loads of photos there (176 in all) but had to choose one and decided on this one. I heard green woodpeckers but as usual didn't see them and got some photos of peacocks as well (perhaps put one of them on another day(. Thanks for viewing, favs and kind comments.
