I couldn't resist taking pics of this swan out with her 2 cygnets. I wasn't the only one because a man came along and joined me. It was just too good a photo opportunity and this one is for my colour theme this week (white!). This was an easy one today but goodness knows how I'm going to take 6 more white pics but I managed black over the past 7 days so I'm sure I'll find something. The rest of the white photos will probably land up in my Bits and Bobs album. Thanks for everyone's kind comments
A gorgeous shot both in photographic and content terms. Fav. What a great opportunity. I'm going to be watching your white theme shots with interest as I find white, especially in flowers, very hard to do well and get good detail.

This is actually a bit overexposed but they kept swimming about and one minute they were under the cover of the trees where it was dark and I didn't have time to change settings. At least now I am changing settings and growing a bit more confident with my new camera. Thanks for the Fav
This is such a beautiful photo, Rosie! I love that little one riding its mother's back. Not sure where the discussion of the color theme is, but this sure is a perfect photo for white.
@lauriehiggins Thanks for your kind comments Laurie. Over the past few weeks, I have chosen a theme for myself and usually put pics in my Bits and Bobs album. I started off with red, followed by yellow, then pink/purple and asked my followers what I should do next and Katy suggested black so last week I did black (hard). I then decided to do white this week as a contrast. It's just a challenge I have set myself.
