How the babies have grown and how their colour has changed from the one I posted last week. I couldn't spend much time taking this as I was already going to be late for work and also the parents were shouting at me and I didn't want to upset them. They are beginning to look more like swallows now. For some reason I took my Lumix instead of my Nikon and it was much harder taking a pic in the dark roof of the bus shelter but this is the best one.
"one swallow does not a summer make" - according to the proverb, but now we've waited so long for it to start perhaps these two will see us through to the end.

It's not always easy to get pics when birds build nests in awkward places and you do need to be quite flexible to get some shots and my back is not very good for getting into difficult places. Still I do try and I must get good marks for trying - ha ha!
