Brambling

This is the first time I have ever seen a brambling in the garden. I was so pleased to see him/her. I hope everyone is having a nice Easter. This morning we went to Shuttleworth as Sainsbury's was closed today for breakfast. On the way we saw a buzzard but as soon as I got out of the car he flew away. I also saw a cock and hen pheasant but Steve wouldn't stop the car. When I drove back there later this afternoon, of course I didn't see the pheasants but again I saw the buzzard, stopped to take a pic but the minute I got out of the car, he flew away. I wish they didn't have such good eyesight! Next time I think I'll try taking a pic through the car window

what a pretty picture....had to laugh at that the husband wouldn't stop the car for you....mine won't either or can't a lot of times. I think whenever we yell, Stop, pull over! they should be better prepared! :)
