And now for something completely different! This is a filler as the pics I took today didn't really appeal to me and the light was going which meant there was a bit of noise on some shots although I will post one of them in my Even More album just so that there is one taken today. Anyway this is a shot of the river Great Ouse in Bedford taken as I was coming home when it was getting dark. The bridge is lit up at night and appears on Anglia News each night (or is it Look East?) Anyway, it appears at the beginning of the local TV news each night. I just thought that this was quite a good night shot as I'm not usually very good at them. The building on the left hand side is the Park Inn which was built in the 1960's and quite honestly is a bit of a blot on the landscape as it's a typical 60's style building with no real character. It doesn't look so bad though lit up at night.
Thanks to everyone who got my squirrel shot which I relegated to my Bits & Bobs album yesterday. I never know which shots to put in which albums.
Camera club last night was a 3 way club competition and the judge was very harsh as he was judging the best images of 3 clubs - Gamlingay, Biggleswade and Bedford. The winners I personally didn't rate and neither did some of the other club members but photography is quite subjective. It is interesting though how many judges don't like boats! I'm glad I've not entered a boat in next weeks open competition. Funnily enough I had already entered a similar squirrel pic to the one I posted yesterday and is on PP and a robin pic.
Wonderful coluors and reflctions, Rosie. I never knew which shot to put in which album and came to the conclusion that it doesn't really matter after all!
@julzmaioro Fortunately no picture of mine was among them. I'm not good enough for that yet and I've only entered one competition so far but next week, my second PDIs will be shown. I shan't get upset by any judges comments though
