This little long tailed tit sat still enough for just a second so that I could get a photo of him. They flit about so fast and I stood quietly in the Sanctuary between the Finger Lakes at Priory Country Park. I haven't been round that way for a while and I saw various little birds flitting about. The robin decided he didn't want his pic taken today but that didn't matter.
I think these little fellows are just like a ball of cotton wool with a long tail.
It was very flooded but I decided to walk around the big lake but found that round the other side because we had had so much rain it was quite deep in places. I did have by boots on but the waterproof bit is only ankle deep so I did get a bit wet but my feet have soon dried out.
