I've been to Emmaus Village Carlton this morning and it's a place that helps homeless men. It not only provides accommodation but also volunteering opportunities to help people gain experience to help them get back on their feet following all sorts of traumas in their life including addiction problems. I have been having a sort out and took a couple of double duvets and bedding as I've changed ours for king size ones so that neither of us lands up with a cold back because the other has rolled over taking the duvet with them. I also took a tea and dinner set which they will probably sell in the shop as we inherited them from Steve's Dad after he died and we already had our own so I am finally moving some of this stuff on to people who can use them.
After going to Carlton, I drove on to Harold Country Park and saw this shy little wren. He was difficult to spot and he kept hiding in the bushes but I managed to get a couple of shots.
That's funny - I saw the tail and then the photo stopped loading and I thought 'ooh good a wren coming!' And then it appeared! I had one trapped in my greenhouse at the weekend and nipped back to the house for my camera (keeping well away so I didn't scare it) but by the time I got back it had escaped (I was pleased really!)
