This is one from yesterday and I'm posting early today before I start work because I've got a really busy day so don't think I shall get a chance later.
I dared to walk along the path to the Finger Lakes yesterday as there were some nice looking people about on the main path so I risked a diversion and this is what I saw. The heron was just standing on the path between the lakes right in front of me. I've never seen him on the path before.

Super capture Rosie but you used a naughty 4 letter word - WORK. Lovely this spot along the Finger Lakes and you have so much wildlife there. Remember my Father lived in Bedford for many years in the 1930's. Instant FAV for the Heron.
