I don't know what kind of exotic bird this is but it resides at Danish Camp. I took this through a wire fence so had to get my lens up close so as not to get any bits of fence in the shot. This is probably why I cut his tail off. I heard quite a commotion as I came back from my walk along the cycle track this morning and knew that it must be feeding time. I wasn't wrong! All the ducks, black swans and geese were there tucking in to their breakfast/lunch. The chap that was feeding them said that they need to put on some weight to see them through the cold weather as they had lost 6 birds yesterday so I think they were getting an even bigger meal today. He said the ones that had died were old birds - a bit like me really! LOL
Thanks for getting yesterday's main pic on PP. Thanks to Mark Prince I have now renamed it chiff chaff as the bird is not a garden warbler. I had forgotten all about chiff chaffs as they look very much like a garden warbler but their leg colour is different although they do look very similar and the garden warblers have all migrated.
