It's not too cold for me

My walk around Priory this afternoon consisted of about 10 minutes! It was just so cold and the wind cut you in half. However, it did give me a chance to take some shots of the dogs so it's all dogs today. Amazingly I only took 10 photos - that's probably a record for me as I usually take upwards of 100 or more.

I have been to the funeral of one of my work colleagues sons really to show my support for her as he died just before Christmas and she found him dead in his bed. He was only 22. Rather than being a sombre affair, it was a really nice celebration of his life. I didn't actually didn't know her son but everyone that spoke had really good things to say about him so I'm sure he was well loved. My colleague had thought she was going to lose him when he was 6 weeks old as he had to go into Great Ormond Street Children's hospital as he nearly died then. A sad day but handled so well by his mother.

Thank you for all your kind comments and Favs. I'm hoping that having reset my router, it will at least behave itself for the rest of the evening.
Great action shot!

It is bitter out there Rosie, I hardly got out of the car today whilst out, you're read later on my offering. Lovely capture but that's cheating going in the water with a fur coat on. FAV for the action shot. (Woof).

Still a very young age but perhaps she has been giving thanks for all the extra years ever since the first scare. I bet that dog was freezing after the excitement had worn off!

You should never out live your children....poor lady that must be terrible & a terrific shock to find him like that. I dare say he died suddenly which is some comfort.
