This little blue tit was waiting his turn on the nut feeder which hangs from my whirly gig washing line which was dripping with rain as it had been raining last night. I'm hoping that this might be one of the little birds who has been surveying the nest box as I've seen a blue tit having a look again today. The weather is beginning to warm up a bit as it has been 10 or 12 degrees today so maybe they will think about building the nest soon. I've had a look via the camera but there is nothing in there yet. Watch this space!

So sweet. I hang a nut holder up filled with dog fur for the birds to line their nests. There hasn't been much activity yet but as you say, they will be building soon!
